The other day I was having an a conversation with my friend Chris and He made a statement that I have not been able to shake.  He says that there is a difference between a good idea and a God idea.  As I have pondered on that statement, this is what I believe the difference between a good idea and a God idea is:

A good idea will change you, but a God idea will change the world around you.  A good idea gets you excited, it fires you up.  It is a God idea that people will partner with you to see lives changed and make an impact on more that just you.

A good idea is safe and easy, but a God idea will take a risk and bring a challenge.  You can not tackle a God idea and stay in your comfort zone.  If you want to play it safe then you need to stick the with good ideas.

A good idea, you get credit for the results, but a God idea only yields results that give Him all the glory.  A God idea is so big there is no one you can do it.  The only way it can be accomplished is through God and not BY you.

A good idea is worth living for, but a God idea is worth dying for.  When you receive that call.  The call that comes from God and not from the spotlight, the one when you will give everything you have to follow it.  That is when you lay down your very life to pursue Him that is calling you.

So what are some God ideas that He is giving you in 2009 so far?
